Charles R. Crawford
Mr. Crawford's experience in electronics began in the 1940's with a special focus in radio communications in 1955. He pioneered the early development of mountaintop radio sites beginning in 1959. He developed the first commercial radio relay site on Mt. Wilson in 1960.

In the early 1990's, Mr. Crawford acquired sites on a nationwide basis. He has been successful in acquiring and operating sites on many mountaintops in Southern California and is well represented in the Northern California market as well. The sites in locations outside of California were sold at the end of 1994 to allow Mr. Crawford to focus on California locations.

Recognizing that the traditional mountaintop sites would not provide suitable coverage for the new wireless technologies, Mr. Crawford brought together the current Prime team in the latter part of 1994 and formed Prime. Our purpose is to acquire buildingtop sites, which re need to accommodate the new technologies.

Drawing on his vast experience in the field of telecommunications and pursuing his interest in new technologies, Mr. Crawford's vision is primarily responsible for the development and maintenance of Prime's objectives and policies. Using contacts he has made over the years, Mr. Crawford creates business opportunities and strategic alliances with other companies. Mr. Crawford's expertise and ongoing industry associations enable him to effectively direct Site selection and development as well as augment their marketing.
